We’ve cleaned up our tutorial URLs (and why that matters)
You might notice something different about our links today.
Tutorial URLs used to look like this:
tutorial.rocks/view/12837
Now they look like this:
tutorial.rocks/tutorials/python-functions-12837
It’s not a flashy update, but it’s a big one.
Why?
Because clean, readable URLs make it easier for you (and search engines) to understand what a page is about before you even click it.
It also helps Google actually index all our tutorials — which means the stuff we’ve spent months building will finally show up properly when people search for it.
We also added redirects, so all the old /view/... links still work. Nothing breaks.
This cleanup helps us:
- Load pages faster
- Get new tutorials found by Google sooner
- Make it easier to share links that actually make sense
Small change. Big impact.
We’ve got a few more under-the-hood upgrades coming soon to improve how tutorials interlink with each other and how your saved content shows up in dashboards.
One step at a time, we’re making Tutorial Rocks faster, smarter, and easier to find.
